The Delta State Police Command has confirmed the discovery of the decomposing body of an unidentified lady around the Federal University Junction of the East-West Road in the state.The corpse was reportedly discovered lying face down inside a drainage system connected to the Agbarho River.Other sources claimed that she might have been knocked down by a vehicle.

The acting state Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Bright Edafe, told journalists that the lady could be a victim of a hit-and-run driver. “The corpse is already decomposing. So, we contacted the local government authorities, while investigation is ongoing,” the PPRO added.All rights reserved.
