Nigerian afrobeats star, David Adeleke, aka Davido, has tipped rapper Odumodublvck to win the Next Rated category of the 2023 Headies Awards ahead of
Although the organisers are yet to announce the nominees for the 2023 Headies Awards, Davido endorsed the ‘Declan Rice’ crooner to win the usually coveted category for best newcomer.
He gave the endorsement during a video chat with Odumodublvck, which the rapper shared on his social media page recently.“By the time OBO don enter…By the time 001 don enter the matter [laughs].” Although Odumodublvck has been in the industry for some years, he recently gained prominence after his sensational hit ‘Declan Rice’ went viral.
Asake and Seyi Vibez have been dominating the Nigerian music industry since their debut projects last year.
