Daniel Ricciardo has finally spoken out about his future in Formula One after rumours suggested that the Racing Bull driver had been replaced by Liam Lawson
Formula One driver Daniel Ricciardo has finally spoken out about the rumours that he has been sacked from the sport.Reports have suggested that after this weekend's Singapore Grand Prix, the 35-year-old will be replaced by rookie Liam Lawson, perhaps spelling the end of his 15 year Formula One career.
Ricciardo returned to F1 in the middle of last season, replacing Nyck de Vries, but has struggled to find form as he currently sits 14th in this driver standings, 10 points behind team-mate Tsunoda.Should Racing Bull want to replace him with Lawson, post-Singapore would be a perfect time as the sport takes a four week break before the final six races of the season.
"What's crazy about the sport is if I go and get a podium this weekend then I'm probably the hottest thing in the sport.
