Daniel Bwala, a chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), says Nyesom Wike, the minister of the federal capital territory, will be expelled by the party at the 'appropriate time'.
no one can suspend him from the PDP, adding that governance is not about membership of a political party.
Recently, President Bola Tinubu, who won the last election on the platform of the All Progressives Congress , appointed Wike as FCT minister.Wike’s appointment has sparked conversations on whether the PDP will take disciplinary actions against him. Bwala said there is nothing wrong with a PDP member working in an APC government if the party decided to constitute a government of national unity.“Why we hardly react to what he says is because he loves drama; everybody knows that. He was saying that nobody can suspend him and the rest,” Bwala said.
“The party has not done that, and he is not the national chairman or chairman of the board of trustees.
