The Dangote Petroleum Refinery has issued an advertisement encouraging customers to purchase 'high quality petrol' directly from its plant, emphasizing the product's benefits for vehicles, engines, and the environment. The Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) confirmed that trucks began loading petroleum products, including PMS (petrol), AGO (diesel), and HHK (kerosene). However, according to Yakubu Suleiman of the Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria (IPMAN), independent marketers prefer to buy from cheaper sources to cut down across Nigeria.

The Dangote Petroleum Refinery has put out a piece of advertisement asking customers to buy “ high quality petrol ” from its plant.

In the advisement, posted on social media on Wednesday, the refinery said its product is good for vehicles, engines, and the environment.“On Tuesday, trucks began loading petroleum products which include Premium Motor Spirit or petrol, Automotive Gas Oil or diesel and Household Kerosene or Kerosene, while other product slates will be dispatched as well,” NNPC said.

Suleiman said members go for more affordable options at other depots across Nigeria to avoid the high logistical costs associated with buying PMS from the refinery.Tax bills: Anger in senate as Ndume protests entry of Zacch Adedeji into chamberMontego celebrates role as Indigenous Energy services company in historic Port Harcourt refinery rehabilitation
