The incident occurred at Ile-Kewu, Oke-Apomu quarters of Ilorin metropolis on at about 9 pm.
DAILY POST reports that the cultists had targeted the elder brother of the deceased, Ibrahim, but met Abdullahi, the younger brother and shot him dead.The deceased was reportedly buried on Thursday morning at the Muslim cemetery in Ilorin off Asa Dam road. In response to inquiries by DAILY POST in Ilorin on Thursday, spokesman of the state police command, SP Okasanmi Ajayi, said “the command has no report of the incident.
“The DPO of ‘C’ Division that covers the area reported no such no such incident in the area please,” he added.
