The Society for Open Parliament , a coalition of civil society groups, has commended Tajudeen Abbas, speaker of the house of representatives, for making efforts to address the current challenges facing the country.
The group said the recent national dialogue on state policing organised by the green chamber is another proof of its commitment to the security of lives and properties as well as the welfare of citizens. “We were thrilled that such an initiative came at a very crucial time when the nation is making efforts to address insecurity.
“The Speaker has also exhibited unquestionable and unflinching loyalty to the President, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and a total commitment to his Renewed Hope Agenda.
