Cross River State governor, Senator Bassey Edet Otu, has appointed Imani Odey, a Television Reporter as his Special Assistant on Electronics Media.
A release with Ref No: SSG/GAO/ 102/ VOL. VI /218, signed by the Secretary to State Government , Prof. Anthony Owan Enoh, directed Imani alongside others to present themselves at the Office of the SSG for briefing ad documentation.
The TV reporter, who is an indigene of Bekwarra local government area of the State, studied Theatre and Performing Arts from the prestigious Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria. Her professional journey in the media industry kick-started when she had opportunity to serve the nation as a Youth Corps member with the Nigeria Television Authority , Sokoto Network Center, Sokoto State.
