Cozey launches new style 'The Ciello Sofa' — looks like a cloud
You get one box per seat plus another box for the arms of the sofa. The instruction book could be clearer. The actual setup of the couch was smoother than the book outlined.
I notoriously don’t read instruction books. Partly because everything is so intuitive these days, but mostly because I’m lazy. Which bodes well for couch sitting, less so for couch building. It’s such an easy build though. Everything you need to assemble the sofa comes in the seats. Literally in the seats. There’s a little pocket in the seat that comes with the items you need for assembly.
To build it there are a few latches that need locking and legs that need twisting. The most difficult part is aligning the arms with the seat and sliding them into place. After a minute of struggling I read the instructions. I was doing it correctly, but just needed the added confidence of knowing I was doing it correctly for everything to click into place.Article content
On an assembly scale from pre-built to IKEA, I’d give it a 4/10. It’s not fully assembled, but everything is so user-friendly, it’s more of a fun 30-minute project versus an afternoon of breakdowns. It’s a solid sofa. Cozey makes sofas and they do it well. The sofa is pretty simple to assemble, it’s comfortable to sit on and easy to clean. There are only a few decisions that need to be made: couch colour, how many seats, which arm shape and sectional or no sectional.
