OCTA Research observed a 1.2 percent increase in the Covid-19 positivity rate in the National Capital Region (NCR) in the past week — from 12.1 percent on September 2 to 13.3 percent on September 9.

93 on August 31 to 1.11 on September 7.'The reproduction number has increased to greater than 1, which means [Covid-19] infections are increasing,' OCTA Research Fellow Dr. Guido David said in a tweet on Sunday.He advised the the elderly and those with comorbidities to take extra precautions to avoid infection.
