In its quest to ensure a hitch-free Eid-al-Fitr celebration, the Plateau State Police Command has deployed 2, 089 of its personnel in the state. The command also reiterated the government's directive that there will be no prayers on all Eid grounds, 'but Mosques where Eid prayer will be observed should not have more than fifty

In its quest to ensure a hitch-free Eid-al-Fitr celebration, the Plateau State Police Command has deployed 2, 089 of its personnel in the state.

According to him, the aforementioned were part of the resolution of a meeting held on 20th May, 2020 with security chiefs, religious leaders and other critical stakeholders in Plateau State in order to fine-tune its strategies to ensure a crime-free Eid-al-Fitr celebration across the state. “There will be no prayers on all Eid grounds but Mosques where Eid prayer will be observed should not have more than 50 worshipers”, he warned.
