A Peoples Democratic Party chieftain in Kaduna State, Alhaji Lawal Adamu Usman popularly known as Mr LA on Friday commenced distribution of food stuffs worth N10 million to the 81 political wards of the seven local governments that make up Kaduna central senatorial district.
The items which were distributed through the LA Care Foundation, include bags of rice and cartons of spaghetti and cash, aimed at alleviating the sufferings of the benefiting local governments during the lockdown period occasioned by the dreaded Covid-19 pandemic. Mr LA was the Kaduna Central Senatorial Candidate in the 2019 general elections on the platform of the PDP who has continued to build his political structures despite not being successful at the said election.Speaking at the flag off of the distribution, Sir Jalal Falal an associate of the donor who represented him said the donor was not physically present due to the death of his uncle, the late Emir of Jere Dr. Saad Usman.
