A pan Nigeria group, Nigerian Patriots(NP), has called for the immediate resignation of the Minister of Humanitarian Affairs over alleged mismanagement of stimulus packages as well as for jeopardizing the Social Investment Fund aimed at cushioning harsh effects of the COVID-19 lockdown. A pan Nigeria group, Nigerian Patriots, has called for the immediate resignation of the Minister of Humanitarian Affairs over alleged mismanagement of stimulus packages as well as for jeopardizing the Social Investment Fund aimed at cushioning harsh effects of the COVID-19 lockdown.

He alleged that some government officials and their cronies were using the current health challenges in the country to loot the commonwealth of Nigerians. The groups asked the Humanitarian Affairs Minister to return the billions so far claimed to have been spent on the alleged non-existent programme.
