COVID-19: Ogun govt explains why patients are treated at home

The COVID-19 isolation centres in Ogun State state appears to be empty, DAILY POST reports.

The Ogun State government has earlier announced that the state has over 300 beds in its isolation centres in OOUTH, Sagamu, Ikenne, Iberekodo and Okemosan, Abeokuta.However, the State Commissioner for Health, Dr Tomi Coker, confirmed that only seven COVID-19 patients are at the state isolation centres.

She said treating COVID-19 patients at home was in accordance with the directive of the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control .
