COVID-19: Nigerians are not adhering to lockdown easing guidelines – Buhari govt
The Federal Government has said that Nigerians are not adhering to the recently released guidelines for the easing of lockdown.
The government also noted that the easing of the lockdown has really increased the number of COVID-19 cases in the country. The Presidential Task Force on COVID-19 made this known at its daily press briefing on Thursday, adding that “States with the most number of cases are struggling to keep up.” The Director General of the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC, Chilwe Ihekweazu added,, “There are people behind those numbers of COVID-19 cases.
