COVID-19: List of countries with highest coronavirus deaths in Africa
According to the latest numbers released by the World Health Organization, WHO, regional office for Africa in Brazzaville, Congo, there are 5,801 deaths recorded in the continent.As of Friday, Egypt has 1,342 reported deaths, the highest on the continent, followed by South Africa with 1,284 fatalities and Algeria with 741 deaths.
Other countries are Sudan , Nigeria , Cameroon , Morocco , Mali , DR Congo , Kenya , Somalia , Chad , Mauritania , and Niger .
