THE Jigawa State has confirmed the death of one person who tested positive for COVID-19, bringing the total confirmed cases in the state to nine.
Dr Zakari Umar explained that ” the confirmed cases are two in Dutse the state capital, one in Auyo Gwaram and Miga local government areas in the state “. “I regret to announce that among of the five recent confirmed cases, one has died few hours after he was taken to our isolation centre here in the capital city, Dutse ”The chairman task force committee noted the deceased was buried according to Islamic rate in accordance with the National Center for Diseases Control guidelines.
