COVID-19: Jigawa records one death, extends lockdown to four LGAs
Chairman COVID-19 Task Force in the State, Dr. Abba Zakari disclosed this while briefing newsmen, Wednesday night.They include Dutse in the State capital, Gwaram, Auyo and Miga local governments areas.He noted that the State was also waiting for more blood samples.
Meanwhile, Governor Muhammad Badaru Abubakar has ordered for the lockdown of the affected four local government areas for one week, with effect from midnight of Friday. DAILY POST had reported that Jigawa State had earlier recorded two new cases and had ordered for lockdown of three local government areas to commence Thursday, 30th April, 2020, by midnight.
