COVID-19 in Nigeria: Why Abia Governor, Ikpeazu must quarantine self – Benjamin Apugo
Apugo also insisted that the people would suffer more as the State currently lacks basic facilities to cushion the effects of the planned lockdown of commercial activities slated for Wednesday in Abia by the Ikpeazu-led government.
He spoke during an interview with select journalists in Umuahia, the Abia State capital, on Tuesday. He advised the governor to go on self-quarantine and to make public his health status in order to avert the spread of Coronavirus in the state. However, Apugo, berated the government over infrastructural decadence in the state and further claimed that the governor and his cabinet members have failed completely to address teething problems bedevilling the state and it’s citizens.
