COVID-19: First generation bank shuts down in Jos after employee tests positive
As the COVID-19 pandemic continues to ravage communities in the country, a staff of a First Generation Bank’s main branch in Jos, the Plateau State capital has tested positive for the virus.DAILYPOST reliably gathered that the bank was closed down and the premises have been fumigated.However, when contacted the State Commissioner for Health, Dr Nimkong Lar, confirmed the incident.
Lar said that the person infected has been moved to the isolation centre and has started receiving treatment .According to him, “As I speak to you, contact tracing has already commenced.” The Health Commissioner advised people of the state to adhere to laid down guidelines in order to stop the spread of the virus.
