COVID-19: FG gives update on N100bn intervention fund for private school teachers
The Federal Government has unveiled N100 billion intervention fund for private school teachers, following the shutdown of schools.
Disclosing this, the Minister of State for Education, Emeka Nwajiuba said private school teachers are eligible to access the COVID-19 fund.He assured that federal government will ensure proper engagement with private school teachers to access the N100 billion from the Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN. “We have forwarded the requests that they made to the CBN and the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Investment, because for us, they are part of the provision the Federal Government has made in relation to SMEs.
