The Ekiti State chapter of the People’s Democratic Party has expressed solidarity with the State Governor, Dr Kayode Fayemi, who just tested positive for COVID-19.
The party, in a statement in Ado-Ekiti on Wednesday by the Secretary of the State Caretaker Committee, Prince Diran Odeyemi, wished Governor Fayemi quick recovery, urging those who had contact with him to self-isolate and undergo the necessary COVID-19 test. Odeyemi said testing positive for Coronavirus was not a death sentence, adding that Fayemi will surely recover and come out negative.
