COVID-19: Ebonyi govt insists on continuous closure of schools
Ebonyi State government on Monday insisted that schools in the state will remain closed, until further notice.
The Deputy Governor, Barr. Kelechi Igwe made this known in a statement signed and forwarded to DAILY POST, in Abakaliki, by his Press secretary, Mr. Monday Uzor. The statement reads in part: “As part of efforts to contain the spread of the coronavirus pandemic, the Ebonyi State Government through the Deputy Governor, Barr. Eric Kelechi Igwe has announced a House to House testing strategy on each citizen across the 13 Local Government Councils, a programme designed for 14 days in the first instance.
