COVID-19: Ebonyi Govt contemplates temporarily lifting suspension on burials
The Ebonyi Government is contemplating giving a seven-day ‘window’ for bereaved people to bury their loved ones, having earlier placed an outright suspension on burials, due to coronavirus pandemic.
Orji said that the decision was reached after consultations with stakeholders and leaders of the state. “Ceremonies for such burials can however be held immediately after the COVID-19 scourge or at other time thereafter as they may desire.
