COVID-19 death toll in Delta, Niger States spike after seven new cases
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control has announced seven new COVID-19 related deaths for Edo and Niger States.NCDC disclosed this on Wednesday in its COVID-19 Situation Report for June 30.
According to the NCDC, seventeen new COVID-19 related deaths were recorded in the last 24 hours in ten states including the FCT. Niger has four, Edo has three, Bayelsa has two, while Imo, Kebbi, Plateau, Katsina, Ogun, Kano, Lagos and FCT recorded one death each one. NCDC disclosed that Edo State also recorded 119 new COVID-19 infections, while Niger State recorded 32 new COVID-19 infections.
