COVID-19: Auto crashes killed 20 in Lagos, Osun even during lockdown – FRSC

The Federal Road Safety Corps , says it recorded 57 road crashes with 20 deaths in Ogun and Lagos States in the four weeks of COVID-19 lockdown.

Obayemi, an Assistant Corps Marshal, said that the crashes occurred within the four weeks of the lockdown in Lagos State and three weeks of lockdown in Ogun. “The enforcement started at different dates with Lagos starting first because there was an already existing lockdown directive by the State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, while lockdown in Ogun State commenced on April 4, 2020.
