About 17 corps members deployed to Edo State, who showed symptoms of the dreaded COVID-19, have been admitted to the Stella Obasanjo Hospital
Ebomwonyi, who spoke while in company of Governor Godwin Obaseki during an inspection tour of the state’s infectious disease isolation centre at the hospital in Benin, stated that even though the cases were unvaccinated, they were undertaking studies and analysis to find out if there was Delta variant in the state.
A personal assistant to the state coordinator of the youth scheme, Mr. Ozeto Waheed, said the 17 corps members serving in the state were currently receiving treatment, noting that they were mobilised to serve in the state.
