The Minister of Interior, Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, has pledged strict action against Nigeria Correctional Service officials implicated in the controversial apartment-for-prison scandal involving cross-dresser Idris Okuneye, popularly known as Bobrisky.
The scandal, which has gained widespread attention on social and traditional media, involves allegations that NCoS officials arranged a private apartment for Bobrisky to serve his jail term instead of a prison cell.
