The Oyo State Government has further relaxed the coronavirus curfew in the state and also asked final year students in schools to resume on June 29.
This was made known on Monday in a statement made available by Governor Seyi Makinde’s Chief Press Secretary, Taiwo Adisa.
He also asked religious centres and government workers to resume back to their duties with modalities. “The state secretariat, which was earlier shut on March 27 as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, and later reopened to staff on grade level 13 and above from Monday April 27, would now be open to all other staffers from Monday, June 22.”
“Mosques and Churches are to reopen and operate at not more than 25 per cent capacity. The situation will be reviewed within the first two weeks. All worshippers are to compulsorily wear face masks.
