Coronavirus: Number of cases in Lagos rises as Nigeria hits 1,000 mark

The number of COVID-19 cases in Lagos State has steadily risen over the last three days.

On Wednesday, the Nigeria Center for Disease and Control recorded 74 cases. The next day, 78 more were recorded.It brings the total to 657, with 117 discharged so far. Lagos, however, still has the highest tally in the country, with the Federal Capital Territory just behind with 138.208 patients have been discharged, while 32 have died from the virus.
