Coronavirus: Kebbi Govt reveals details of index case
The Kebbi State Government has confirmed the first index case of COVID-19 in the State.
Governor Atiku Bagudu, while briefing newsmen in Birnin Kebbi, said the index case was one of the 13 samples sent to the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC, Abuja for a test.The Governor added that measures were in place to trace contacts of the victim.“He has been sent to the isolation center.
“I, therefore, urge people of the state to continue observing the precautionary measures against COVID-19, including washing of hands, social distances, use of face masks and use of hand sanitizer,” he said.The NCDC, on Sunday
