Coronavirus cases rising – Imo govt
The Chairman of Imo State COVID-19 Task Force, Maurice Iwu, has said that cases of coronavirus in the state were rising.He appealed to residents to re-access their stance on the existence of the virus and continue to maintain measures announced by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control .
NAN quoted him as saying that the virus was spreading with a cumulative positive reality of 1,461 cases. Iwu said Police, Civil Defence and two other teams would help to enforce compliance on the governor’s directives.
