Coronavirus: Ajax coach, two others banned from club’s training ground
Ajax’s assistant coach, Christian Poulsen, and two other members of the coaching staff have been banned from the club’s training ground, over fears of a potential coronavirus risk.
Poulsen, a former Liverpool and Juventus midfielder, will not be on the bench alongside head coach Erik ten Hag when Ajax take on Heerenveen in the Eredivisie on Saturday night. The 36-year-old, who was infected during a visit to Amsterdam, tested positive on Thursday and has been in quarantine.
