Coral reefs that are destroyed by warm seas 'can regrow within a decade' if the water temperature returns to normal levels

Researchers studied 243 colonies of corals off of the Columbretes Islands in the Mediterranean for 16 years. They recorded the damage done to each colony by summertime episodes of temporary ocean warming.
