PETALING JAYA: Police have recorded statements of five people in connection with the reopened investigations into the death of Teoh Beng Hock, says Comm Datuk Noor Azam Jamaludin.
The Selangor police chief said among the five people were Seri Kembangan assemblyman Ean Yong Hian Wah, along with lawyer and former Kota Alam Shah assemblyman M. Manoharan.
"Several other witnesses, including from the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission , will also be called up for their statements to be recorded soon," he said in a statement on Monday . Comm Noor Azman said the investigation papers will be referred to the Attorney-General's Chambers from time to time for further instructions.
