Ramesh Rao was called to Bukit Aman over his alleged claim that the SRC International trial judge is Dr Mahathir Mohamad’s grandnephew.
Federal CID deputy director Mior Faridalathrash Wahid said police finished recording his statement in Bukit Aman here at about 12.10pm today. He was summoned by police in connection with the tweet on July 28 claiming that the High Court judge who found former prime minister Najib Razak guilty in the 1MDB-linked SRC International corruption case that day is Dr Mahathir Mohamad’s grandnephew.
