President of the Senate, Ahmad Lawan, said on Sunday that many Nigerians wrongly interprete the essence of constituency projects.

This is as he also said the National Assembly will continue to work with the President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari , to find lasting solutions to the current insecurity in the country.

A statement from the senate quoted Lawan as saying “constituency project is so badly misconstrued by many.” “But because members of the National Assembly are so close to the ordinary man, we try to look for those issues that make a difference in their individual and collective lives. The Senate President commiserated with the people of Katsina over the recent deadly attacks in the state by the bandits.
