Concerned Nigerians have condemned the “senseless” massacre of scores of people in the Kombun District in the Mangu area of Plateau State.
A statement by Theophilus Abuh Agada, on behalf of the social change movement, lamented thousands have been displaced from their homes. Agada said the atrocity “goes against the fundamental principles of humanity, peace, and justice that we hold deat and must be condemned by all and sundry”. Agada reminded warring parties that no grievance, no matter how valid, can justify resorting to violence and wanton destruction.
