Head coach Delta football team at the National Youth Games Gordon Ogbe says they have protested the ages of Team Kaduna players after the northerners humiliated his side 5-0 in the boys football event on Sunday.

“Team Kaduna did not go through the rigorous screening exercises other states underwent. Team Delta was screened with the use of the National Identification Number and that left us with only 12 players against Team Kaduna’s 18 players who didn’t pass through the screening.

Also, Team Lagos hammered Delta 5-0 in the women’s football event, in a game the hosts reportedly had just 12 players. All rights reserved.
