The Chief Executive Officer, Lakers County, now Royal County, Oladimeji Ogunfolaju, on Monday said his company had secured the Special Control Unit Against Money Laundering certificate issued by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission to regularise operations at his club, hotel and lounge, in Ikorodu, Lagos State.

He added that in bid to get justice in the matter, he secured the services of Babatunde Ogala , who petitioned the EFCC over the last raid.

Ogunfolaju said, “I secured it to let the public be aware of the transparency and legitimacy of all our financial activities. It is to prove that our business is not used for fraudulent activities whatsoever and also to avert all forms of suspicion on the business premises and to give confidence to the public that we have nothing to hide financially.

“The EFCC stormed the premises twice based on the suspicion of fraudulent activities. So, to prove that nothing illegal is going on here, we had to secure the certificate to set the record straight and to prove to the authorities that we are not into any fraudulent activity.”All rights reserved.
