Primate Elijah Ayodele of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church expresses concerns over Nigeria's proposed tax reform, stating it won't significantly improve the economy and may lead to increased corruption and opposition.

The Leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele , on Sunday, revealed that the proposed Tax Reform will not have any significant impact on Nigeria ’s economy. He said the tax reform needs a proper review by President Bola Tinubu because it won’t add much value to the country’s economic situation. Primate Ayodele noted that as the reform progresses, churches and NGOs will also begin to pay taxes, which would be met with stiff opposition.

He stressed the need for the president to reassess the tax reform to prevent its defeat and the vindication of its opponents. Primate Ayodele also called on the government to prioritize reforms that improve the lives of ordinary citizens
