Governor Hope Uzodimma of Imo State has reiterated that the government and the Church are partners in progress.
He stated this, yesterday, after the second session of the 10th Anglican Synod of Isi-Mbano Diocese, Imo State.
This was contained in a statement by the Chief Press Secretary and Media Adviser to the Governor, Oguwike Nwachuku, and made available to The Guardian. “We cannot thank you enough for this road and your intervention on other roads in Imo. God will bless and support you,” the bishop said. Addressing the congregation at the end of the Church service, the governor thanked God for keeping everybody alive to witness the synod and assured the people that by with the relative peace now in Imo, the government will do more in infrastructure and human capital development.
