MANILA - The Commission on Human Rights on Wednesday urged the government to provide sufficient support for frontline workers battling the coronavirus disease 2019 pandemic.

"To truly honor their sacrifices, we reiterate our call for expedient provision of sufficient protection gears and supplies, transportation, and other support that all frontline workers need," CHR spokesperson Jacqueline Ann de Guia said in a statement.
