Crystal Palace midfielder Eberechi Eze says he has ‘no regret’ choosing England over Nigeria at international level.
“Potentially,” Eze said, when asked if he was hoping to make his first England appearance this week.
“It’s something I have been working towards for a long time. I’m grateful it’s happened now and I’m in a position to show myself and be in and amongst this level.” The 24-year-old, who trained with the Super Eagles before a cancelled friendly against Burkina Faso in March 2017, has been a target for the three-time African champions in recent years.
