He noted that current rainfall forecasts suggest there may be an increase in the number of cases adding that the contributing factors to the outbreak include high rates of open defecation, leading to contamination of water sources through runoff of faecal matter. He said, We are still implementing a coordinated response led by the National MultiSectoral Technical Working Group , hosted at the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control . This collaborative effort involves key partners,Resources, the Federal Ministry of Environment, the National Primary HealthCare Development Agency, and various development partners.
