Chairman of Golden Gate Hotel, Lagos, Chief Jacob Woods, has said that China’s loans are free from imperialism and western propaganda, but rather meant for the development of African countries.
Woods, who stated this, yesterday, during an event organised by the Nigeria-China Friendship Association to mark his 74th birthday in Lagos, said there had been lots of development in Africa done with Chinese loans.
He recalled that the Chinese government built own systems and principles but regretted that Nigerians don’t replicate same.
