Chief Bode returns to APC, declares support for Buhari govt
The News Agency of Nigeria, reports that Ola, a former member of the Action Congress of Nigeria left the party three years after he lost his senatorial ticket to Sen. Femi Kila.
Ola, however, said he was not returning to APC because President Muhammadu Buhari had won a second term ticket, but due to his respect for Gov. Kayode Fayemi and his developmental drive in the state.Ola, who described Fayemi as a listening leader, said the governor is committed to the development of the state and the welfare of the people.
“I am back now because the new leadership has promised to right all wrongs and avoid mistakes of the past.He implored his supporters to forget the past and work toward the party’s unity, assuring them that the party had promised equal opportunity for all.
