Chelsea is looking to bring in a new number-one goalkeeper for their new manager, Mauricio Pochettino this summer and is exploring a deal for Porto
The Blues have been in the market for a new starting goalkeeper due to concerns over both Edouard Mendy and Kepa Arrizabalaga, with the first set to move to Saudi Arabia imminently.
But according to the Portuguese newspaper A Bola, Chelsea has a concrete interest in Costa and are looking into ways of securing a deal for him. Chelsea’s Premier League rival, Manchester United are big fans of Costa and have scouted him extensively but Porto’s stance on the £64.5m fee has proved to be a rather significant obstacle.
