Girona coach, Michel, has backed Manchester City to beat Real Madrid and qualify for the Champions League final this season.“It’s a very difficult tie for both of them, an early final.
“Right now we are in the City Group and because of my relationship with Pep Guardiola and his brother, Pere, I would like City to reach the final. “But I also have friends in Madrid, it’s a Spanish team and if they win in the end it’s not a matter that I don’t like. But I prefer City to reach the final,” Michel said as quoted by AS before his team’s La Liga 4-2 win over Real Madrid on Tuesday at Montilivi.
