Real Madrid boss, Carlo Ancelotti, will be without a key player, David Alaba, when his team hosts Liverpool in the UEFA Champions League round of 16
According to the Athletic’s Mario Cortegana, Alaba is better but will not feature for Real Madrid against Liverpool in the Champions League clash at the Santiago Bernabeu as he continues his recovery from a hamstring injury.
Cortegana, however, said that the likes of Karim Benzema and Ferland Mendy are set to return to action for Real Madrid against the Premier League giants. He tweeted on Sunday: “Mendy and Benzema have completed the training with the group and both will be available against Liverpool.Real Madrid had defeated Liverpool 5-2 in the Champions League last-16 first-leg tie in February at Anfield.
